Augie’s was established in the summer of 2010 by father and son duo Augie and Ryan Walters. They started off with a simple formula: Fresh food plus cold drinks equals happy people. Since then, they have expanded their menu to include homemade classic and specialty pizzas, fresh burgers and wraps, and a wide variety of traditional bar fare. No Wisconsin bar would be complete without cheese curds and theirs are fresh and hand-battered to order. Augie’s has your drink needs covered with a vast array of domestic favorites, a rotating selection of specialty craft beers, and a full-service bar for cocktails providing something for everyone.

Augie’s is an area leader in pool and dart leagues, sponsoring numerous teams throughout the year and hosting several tournaments each league season. There’s always something to do at Augie’s from the occasional live band or DJ, to yearly Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s bashes, to their annual street dance where the main street in front of Augie’s is closed off so everyone can party and dance all day and night. You’ll often find people celebrating their birthday, throwing a baby shower, or commemorating a class reunion in the back room. Available to anyone is a semi-private event room that holds up to 50 people with a TV, easy access to the bar, and catering services available.

Augie’s has recently added full-service catering to its repertoire, offering buffet-style breakfast and luncheon options to be enjoyed in-house or they will come to you. Perfect for family get-togethers or work events and meetings, let Augie’s take care of the cooking. Also great for large gatherings is their industrial-sized portable charcoal grill available for Chicken Q’s, grilled brats and hotdogs, and grilled hamburgers, serving groups of up to 1000 people.

Augie’s is proud to have established themselves as a staple in Bangor for over a decade, dedicating their time and resources to bettering the community by raising money for local charities through their street dance, holding a chili cook-off each winter to help fund the local fireworks display, and organizing a toy drive for local children during the holiday season.
